secutex® - Buffer Pad profiles

 

 

Genrally there are two forms of Buffer Pad profiles, the compact profiles and the hollow profiles, where the damping path of all hollows is essentially longer than that of the compact profiles.

All profiles are available without insert, with textile insert or with perforated plate interlining.

• secutex® Buffer Pad with perforated plate interlining SPL:
  This is the preferred design of the secutex® Buffer Pad. For this combination the perforated plate serves two purposes:
  It acts as a reinforcement of the flexible secutex®; the perforated plate interlining prevents secutex® from stretching in the longitudinal and the transverse sense.
  Additionally it provides easy fastening my means of screws, nails, rivets, even welding is possible.

  SPL-R	secutex Buffer Pad-perforated plate-round

• secutex® - Buffer Pad with textile insert SPG:
  In this combination, the high-performance special tissue has two functions:
  It serves as a reinforcement of the flexible secutex®; the solid connection with the tissue prevents secutex® from strtching in the longitudinal and the transverse sense, i.e. it cannot be displaced (thus cut up) by sharp edges.
  Also the elasticity of the tissue ensures a good recovery after beeing exposed to pressures by edges. The fastening requires certain trade-offs; rivets or screws must be must be combined with washers or flats..

• secutex® - Buffer Pad SP (without insert):
  This is the version presenting maximum elasticity. When fastened by means of scrwes or similar parts, lage-size washers or flats must be used in any case. Attention must be paid to the fact that - like all plastics - secutex® is stretched under pressure in the longitudinal and th etransverse sense and that recovery of extension might not be complete, e.g. after severe pressures.
