SARA (Search and Rope Access) Supervisor

Normally a maximum ratio of 1:4.
INTRODUCTION
The course is designed to provide:
- The ability to select Rope Access for appropriate situations.
- The knowledge to identify how other access methods can be used in relation to Rope Access and how to select the most appropriate technique.
- The knowledge required to maintain a Search Team SARA Capability.
- The knowledge required to operate a SARA Team in an operational environment.
- The skills required to supervise and perform rescues in areas/situations where Search Teams are most commonly tasked to operate.
- Officers will be able to supervise the inspection, care and maintenance of all the associated equipment required for the techniques.
