GUIDE TO LASHING SAFETY
All SpanSet Lashing Systems are manufactured to BS5759 : 1987 and most carry the BSI Kitemark label of guaranteed quality and performance.

Knotted webbing
Knotted webbing should not be used. A cut lashing system must never be joined by knotting.
The webbing has been cut and has a frayed edge. This will weaken the lashing substantially.
