THE MODULAR APPROACH
INTRODUCTION
The SpanSet modular training approach has been set up to offer a clearer
explanation of the options available in height safety training. This should
make choosing the correct training for your staff quicker and easier. It will
also allow you to demonstrate clearly to your client the level of training and
the topics covered by your staff
Each module sets out the
following;
-
The course duration
-
The trainee to
instructor ratio
-
The course content
-
The course content
split between theory and practical sessions
-
The equipment that is
utilised during training
If the modules are
selected carefully you will be able to tailor make your own course from
standard modules. This provides you with a tailor made product at standard
prices with proven consistency and quality.
HOW IT WORKS
The basis of all the courses is module I the Height Safety Equipment
appreciation and inspection course. This provides all trainees with a solid
foundation in safe work at height from which if required they can specialise by
carrying on to complete further modules. The course hierarchy chart then shows
which modules can be used to enhance the basic module and what qualifcations
this will provide you with. In order to progress from one module to the next
you must have successfully completed all qualifying modules. This is outlined
on each module sheet in the pre course requirements.
CERTIFICATION
The certficate will state which modules have been attained and together with
the module sheets will dearly show what your staff are qualified to carry out.
TAILOR MADE COURSES
If you require a course specifically tailored to your requirements then we
would suggest that as far as possible you choose standard modules. For
additional topics that are not catered for we can create tailor made modules in
the same standard format. When integrated with standard modules you are able to
get the highest level of consistency and the costs of tailor making is kept to
a minimum.
