MATERIAL WINCH

Monopod and Davit. Primarily they are used for raising and
lowering materials and goods.
When used in conjunction with fall arrest and rescue devices
the can be used for 'Man Riding', raising and lowering being
carried out by using the material winch with the fall arrest
and rescue device acting as a secondary backup.

THE SPANHOIST SYSTEM

The Spanhoist is a rope and pulley system that may be used
in conjunction with the Spanlegs tripod. It offers a 3 and
5 fall rope configuration and can be used for 1 and 2 man
riding (lowering and raising personnel). It is intended to
be used by trained competent personnel only - see SpanSet
Training or contact SpanSet direct. The Spanhoist can also
be used for lowering and raising goods.
